Any ideas of what my New Year resolution could be? Should be?
I love to make quilts that are geometric and organized like this one called Make New Friends But Keep The Old, it’s a traditional pattern made with beautiful non-traditional batik fabrics. What’s interesting about this quilt, and the many others I make, is that they arise out of the chaos of my sewing room seemingly unscathed. Creative minds are seldom tidy…… stay tuned for proof.

I have been quilting like a crazy woman since finishing Jared’s quilt. He asked for it when he was 11 and he just turned 25……. Had I known how wonderful guilt free sewing is, I would have finished it 14 years ago!! Stand by for photo!
